15 Creative Ideas of Designing & Decorating Your Daughter’s Room
Girls’ rooms are usually decorated with flowers and princesses and painted pink. However, you need not stick to the norm. Here are 15 creative ideas to design and decorate your daughter’s room:
1. Create Mini Art Galleries
Adorn walls with any style of art. Choose either monochromatic art or art that is filled with color. Hang fun framed art (teddy bears, cartoon characters, ducks) too. Go for an accent wall that has photos, pictures and wall decor. If she is interested in art, you could inspire the painter in her to come alive.
2. Add Patterned Accessories
Add patterned accessories, for instance, pillows with different patterns and colors or rugs full of flower patterns. The pillows and rugs should complement each other. For example, if the pillows are pink, green, and blue, the rugs can have pink, green and blue patterns. Your daughter’s room will become a cheerful play space.

You need not stick to one color when it comes to the walls in your daughter’s crib. You can frame the center with molding and paint stripes of different colors down the middle.
