1. Using olive oil and vinegar

With these two ingredients, you are bound to make a good solution that will be very gentle on your leather and keep it shiny. The other good thing is because the two ingredients are used at home and in the kitchen they are mild and will not be corrosive to your hands or to the leather. You are sure that when using this two, the only thing you will be removing is dust and not the layers of your leather.

It being a simple recipe also makes it one of the best. The two are just mixed and the put in a spray bottle and used as the solution is. This method has been used for very long and has proved to be very reliable and good for leather. Using a cloth you will clean the leather leaving it sparkling.

2. Using lemon juice and cream of tartar

When mixed unlike the other one, these two make a cream. The cream is very good when trying to clean out normal spots from leather. The lemon juice and the cream of tartar are mixed and used to wipe the dirt from the leather. A cloth is used to apply the paste on the spot and wipe. Sometimes some soils may be formed when cleaning, in such cases what is done is you leave it then come back later to clean it. This keeps the leather from being destroyed. After it is cleaned what is done is some water is applied to it to smoothen it then let it dry. This is however not under the sun.

Apart from these two, there are other leather cleaners outside there. All of them have been formulated so that you get to leave your leather wherever it is very clean and sparkling. The idea behind all these homemade leather cleaners is getting ingredients that do not cause abrasion on the leather and can clean the leather very well.

Cleaning of leather is not hard. It is however a task that should be carried out with uttermost care. Remember leather if not cleaned well looks bad and can end up being destroyed.
