Zoe Joy is a teenage aspiring fashion designer, but until she gets her foot in the door of fashion she’s decided to pursue what she does best which is jewelry, arts and crafts, and design. Because she is only 16 she is very underestimated. She is also a self-taught designer. In other words she learnt by doing, and is always looking for ways to better present herself in her technique. Her youth and lack of experience brings doubt from fellow jewelry designers and elders, but Zoe Joy enjoys proving everyone wrong by living out her dreams.

Zoe Joy has been making jewelry for a couple of years now. It all started as a hobby she stumbled upon. One day with her music blasting as always, she was cleaning out her closet and came across some old discarded bangles. In sync to the flow of her music she shaped the wire before her very eyes and turned those bangles into enchanting earrings! Astonished by her beautiful creation she took every bangle she could find and made a new piece. After that day she was hooked and researched all she could about this thing called jewelry. After all her research, she came to find that the jewelry she made was called wire jewelry and after that she knew her life had changed, she was now and forever a jewelry designer. To this day she still has those earring made from cheap bangles, she keeps them as a reminder of the day she fell in love with jewelry.

Zoe Joy’s jewelry line is called Muzic To My Ears because her inspiration comes from the beautiful sounds of music. Her timeless jewelry features the craft of wire manipulation, which is wire manipulated into desired shapes or using wire to form button, jewel, or beaded designs. Wire jewelry can be a tough type of jewelry to masted as it can be very unpredictable. She finds no sham in working on a piece for an extra hour, just to insure that her pieces look as identical as possible. She uses all types of wire to bring her designs to life; aluminum, brass, silver, gold, and her favorite, copper. Even after hundreds of piece each creation has a unique quality that captivates.
