Use scrap tiles from other rooms, or go to a tile manufacturer and inquire about their miscoloured or defected tiles (defected tiles usually look perfectly good, but are “defected” because they didn’t match exactly what the buyer wanted), which you may be able to take off their hands for cheap! Don’t worry about mixing random colours and patterns. Just try to choose tiles that are similar in thickness. This mismatching on purpose will just look like an ingenious eclectic style that will be completely one of a kind!
